Save Time and Money With Wearever Underwear

I was recently asked to review the Wearever Incontinence Underwear line.  No compensation was received other than the products shown, but all opinions expressed are true and my own. 

Wearever is an incontinence underwear line especially for active lifestyles. It looks just like traditional women’s panties or men’s briefs, but has innovative fabric technology sewn-in to absorb liquid just as well as an adult diaper. In addition to offering more stylish and dignified alternatives to adult diapers, Wearever underwear are:

• Environmentally friendly with zero waste
• Less expensive, saving the average user about $500 a year over the cost for disposables
• Many women over the age of 50 and/or with multiple children wear them for an uh-oh moment with a sneeze or likewise – eliminating a potentially embarrassing moment.
• On the other side, many men who have had treatments for prostate cancer, and men and women with a number of other health issues from epilepsy or diabetes to pelvic cancers or multiple sclerosis look for solutions to incontinence.

As a woman who birthed a child and had a traditional hysterectomy, my old bladder doesn’t “hold up” as well as it did before those life changing events.  At the ripe old age of 40, I whole-heartedly understand those Poise commercials that Kirstie Allie does.  I find them very realistic because I can now relate to them.  I think it’s karma that’s paying me back though.  A friend of mine was really ill last fall and had bladder difficulties when coughing and sneezing.  I teased her horribly about the Poise samples that were then available and asked her if she had ordered her samples.  Six months later, I was whining to her that I was the one needing the samples when the horrible cold season hit me!  Thankfully, the cold season is now over and no more rushed “Uh-Oh” trips have been in my recent past and hopefully not in my foreseeable future!

One of the major problems mamy people with Multiple Sclerosis face is incontinence.  Thankfully, I don’t have a day to day problem with it, but I became very proactive about my disease once I was diagnosed.  So, when the opportunity arose to review the Wearever Incontinence Underwear line, I viewed it as another step in my “just in case” research.  Of great concern was the description “Waterproof outer layer prevents leakage, for double protection.”    Until I received my undergarments I was envisioning something like rubberpants that used to be put over a baby’s cloth diaper.  Once my undergarments arrived I was confused because I couldn’t find the waterproof outer layer.  I had to really analyze the Sewn-in, super absorbent Unique-Dri™ pad and finally figured out that the thin waterproof outer layer was attached to the bottom of the built-in pad, but was covered by the outer layer of the underwear.

There are multiple styles of Wearever Incontinence Underwear for men and for women.  The sizing chart was especially helpful when I was trying to determine the size I needed to request for this review.  I found the sizing chart to be accurate for the underwear I received.  There are multiple options to choose from when selecting your Wearever Underwear from the Eversure line.  Style, fabric, and absorbency needs are a few of choices to be made.  My fifteen year-old daughter teases me and refers to this pair as my sexy panties and informed me that they were too sexy for me to wear!  

I did have a special concern when I received my package of undies, but it’s a concern that I have with ALL undergarments.  My skin is easily irritated by elastic, lace, and even the fabric itself.  I am happy to report that I had NO problems with any of the Wearever Incontinence Underwear.  Hopefully, I won’t ever NEED to switch over to an incontinence underwear for daily use, but if I do Wearever Incontinence Underwear will be tops on my list!
